Cinenix is built on a local-first foundation. This notice outlines how local desktop processing, optional AI integrations, website hosting logs, and future account features handle data.
All core video transcoding, audio processing, subtitle manipulation, filtering, and project files execute entirely on your local machine using embedded or local FFmpeg binaries. Your media files, project configurations, and metadata remain strictly on-device and are not transmitted as telemetry by the core desktop workflow.
When you explicitly enable and configure optional cloud capabilities (such as cloud speech recognition or translation APIs), only the specific text inputs, audio segments, or parameters you designate are transmitted directly to your chosen third-party AI provider. No unrelated media or project files are sent.
When accessing this website, standard hosting infrastructure and content delivery networks generate operational logs (such as IP addresses, browser user-agent headers, and request timestamps) to maintain network security, prevent abuse, and deliver assets. These operational server records operate outside the core desktop product telemetry contract.
Account registration, authentication, and license synchronization are handled via Supabase infrastructure only when user authentication is configured and active. In this preview release, cloud authentication is disabled, and no personal account records are collected.
Because cloud account services and commercial checkout are not yet active in this preview, long-term cloud account retention and data deletion terms are pending finalization before commercial release. Your local presets and exported files remain entirely under your control on your device.
